Taking a first glance at the waveform you can easily tell because of the nature of the sound and because of the wave’s trembling and snappy appearance that this is the sound of a drum. The sound looks rather quiet in the waveform and it is in fact pretty quiet when played because of a lack of amplitude.
When looking at the spectrogram it is even easier to find out that this is a drum set especially if you are already familiar with the frequency ranges for specific drums. Using the measuring tool on FreeSound.org it shows that the highest energy is contained at around 300-320hz which slowly dies out as the energy dissipates from the drum’s trembling membrane. There are also a plethora of overtones present because of the vibrations of the other materials inside the drum and so on.
