Grids is a topographic drum sequencer, utilizing chaos and formal grammar algorithms (maybe). The user can select a drum pattern topographically using the X and Y controls. The density of these pre-made patterns can then be controlled using the respective knobs. Finally, a Chaos control adds subtle randomness to the patterns.

Grids is unique in its fusion of experimental algorithmic composition and conventional use. It is specifically tailored to be usable in the creation of more conventional music, although being a Eurorack module, it can be pushed much further.
